This USA made Ludwig hammered copper snare looks stunning and raw, with vintage style features all focused around a hammered copper shell with tube style lugs
This delivers a precision focus with darker lows to create a resonant balanced sound.
100 Years of Experience
For nearly a 100 years Ludwig built Timpani drums, they have used this copper engineering to now produce high-quality copper snares.
The 1.2mm thick beaded hammered copper shell presents a snare with muted highs, forthcomiong mids and a darker low end.
A loud force and prominant tone pushes through perfectly ensuring this snare produces fat powerful punch on stage as well as beautifully raw clear tone in the studio.
Hammer Style
The hammered visuals on this Ludwig Copper Phonic snare features a raw style, close to a steam punk inspired look, making the aesthetics eye-catching and exciting.
The polished chrome hardware on this snare contrasts perfectly with the hammered rose copper finish, making this a beautiful looking instrument visually.
Surrounded with 2.3mm triple flanged hoops with Ludwig’s tube style lugs delivers traditional Ludwig classic looks and styling.
Completing the shell, the P85AC Throw Off and P35AC Butt Plate comes installed as standard offering fluent adjustability and a firm grasp of the snare wires.
Weather Master Heads
The Ludwig Copperphonic snare comes fitted with Ludwig Weather Master drumheads producing a warm stable resonance with a sharp clear sound perfect for any drumming performance or situation.
The top of the snare features a Ludwig Weather Master Medium Coated Head and the resonant side if fitted with a Ludwig Weather Master Clear Snare Side Head.
