Ludwig COB Snare
First introduced in 1960 as the Super Ludwig, the Ludwig Chrome Over Brass snare was the predecessor to the world renown Supraphonic Snare.
Although the original Super Ludwig was only produced for a short period of time it went on to become one of the most sought-after drums leading to its 1990s re-release as the COB.
Featuring a practically identical aesthetic to the Supraphonic, the Ludwig COB has a chrome plated brass shell as opposed to the chrome plated aluminium shell of the Supraphonic.
The Ludwig COB’s seamless, chrome plated brass shell delivers the rich open tone of brass with a touch of added focus and top end to produce classic tone with sleek style.
