Constructing the Ibanez miKro Bass
The body of the Ibanez GSRM20 miKro bass is made from Poplar. This wood is known for its light weight and natural resonance which makes it ideal for a smaller bass guitar.
The cutaway design of the body grants you easy access to the highest frets; essential when it comes time to bust out a bass solo.
Attached to the body is a Maple neck holding a Jatoba fretboard with medium frets for easy playability. The shorter scale length of 28.6” makes it extremely comfortable for beginner bassists.
Versatile Electronics
The GSRM20 miKro is equipped with a PJ pickup configuration, giving you a little bit of both Precision Bass and Jazz Bass setups.
This consists of a Dynamix J bass pickup in the bridge position, providing deep and smooth low-end tones while a Dynamix P bass pickup adds a bit of edge to your sound.
Dedicated volume controls for each pickup allow you to get the perfect balance between the two while a Master Tone knob is there for you to further sculpt your sound to perfection.
High Quality Hardware
Fitted to the body of the Ibanez GSRM20 miKro is a B10 bridge providing solid tuning stability.
The bridge also is fully adjustable so it’s easy to get perfect intonation across the entire neck.
Matching the finish, all the hardware on this GSRM20 miKro bass is kept black for a super sleek and stealthy aesthetic.
