Altstar Style
The Ibanez ALT30 has an Altstar body style which is similar in shape to the popular dreadnought guitar. Due to its size and shape, the ALT30 gives you a wide range of sounds with nicely rounded bottom end.
Access to the higher frets is a breeze because of the Ibanez Altstar body’s single cutaway, great for solos.
Known for its broad range and rich tones, Spruce has been used for the top while Sapele forms the back and sides, adding strong midrange and bright trebles.
Attached to the body is a Maple neck with a highly playable Altstar shape.
The neck holds a Laurel fretboard which features specially designed Altstar inlays adding to the unique aesthetic of this Ibanez electro-acoustic guitar.
Great Sounding Electronics
When it’s time to hit the stage, the Ibanez ALT30 electro-acoustic can play live and loud thanks to its under saddle pickup and AEQ2UT preamp.
Separate bass and treble controls allow you to adjust your output on the fly so you always have the perfect sound.
For added convenience, the preamp also features a built-in tuner so you can tune up whenever you need without needing a separate tuner.
High Quality Hardware
Six chrome die-cast tuners can be found on the Ibanez ALT30’s headstock offering secure and precise tuning.
The body holds a Laurel bridge which features Ibanez Advantage bridge pins.
Featuring special, bulb-shaped ends, Ibanez Advantage bridge pins are easily removed so re-stringing the Ibanez ALT30 can be done in no time.
Furthermore; with standard bridge pins, the ball end of your string attaches to the bottom of the pin which lifts the bridge pin as the strings are tightened.
Because of the Ibanez Advantage bridge pins tapered bottoms, the ball ends of your strings rest beneath the saddle and don’t drag up the bridge pin.
A flared stopper around the base of the of bulb-shaped end on the Ibanez Advantage bridge pins prevent them from being pushed in too far too!
