Altstar Style
The Ibanez ALT30 has an Altstar body which is very similar to a dreadnought, giving you a great range of sound with string low end. A cutaway to the body provides easy access to the higher frets.
For the resonating top of the Altstar ALT30, Ibanez have used Spruce. This wood is extremely popular for acoustic guitars due to its broad range and versatility.
The back and sides are made from Sapele that provides a strong midrange with bright and airy trebles.
A Maple neck is attached and has an Altstar design for easy playability. The neck holds a Laurel fretboard which flaunts specially designed Altstar inlays adding to the unique aesthetic of this gorgeous guitar.
Great Sounding Electronics
The Ibanez ALT30 electro-acoustic guitar comes equipped with an under saddle pickup and AEQ2UT preamp allowing you to plug in to play live and loud.
Two band EQ built into the preamp allows you to separately adjust bass and treble so you can shape your sound to your liking while a volume knob adjusts the overall output level.
The Ibanez AEQ2UT preamp also features an onboard tuner so you can tune your guitar to perfection without having to bring along a separate tuner.
High Quality Hardware
Chrome die-cast tuners can be found on the ALT30’s headstock, offering secure tuning of your strings.
On the body, you’ll find a laurel bridge equipped with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins.
Because of their special bulb-shaped ends, Ibanez Advantage bridge pins are easy to get hold of and remove so changing strings can be done in no time. They also feature a stopper to prevent them being pushed in too far.
Furthermore; unlike standard bridge pins, Ibanez Advantage bridge pins have a tapered bottom so the ball end of your strings rest under the saddle instead of pulling up the bridge pins as you tighten the strings.
