Hand-Wound in England: Bare Knuckle Aftermath Pickups
With accelerated bass response for superior fast tracking of high speed staccato riffing, crushing mid-range and crisp, clear high-end articulation; the Bare Knuckle Aftermath pickups are what the modern metal guitarist has dreamed of.
Featuring a symmetrically hand-wound twin screw coil design, the Aftermath bridge humbucker is powered by three custom size ceramic magnets. The bottom-end responds with lightning fast speed to pick attack and tracks fast riffing with extreme accuracy while mids are focused and intense to deliver ultimate punch.
The Aftermath neck humbucker is powered by Alnico V magnets and perfectly voiced for fat and powerful clean tones brilliant, fluid, vocal-like sustain.
Hand-wound and made in England, Bare Knuckle pickups are hailed as some of the best pickups for metal in the world and the Aftermath is everything you’ll need.
A five-way pickup selector switch allows you to find the tone you need.
Crafted to The Highest Quality in Japan
The neck of the RGD7UC Prestige is a Wizard-7, 5-piece Maple and Wenge neck that has been fortified with KTS TITANIUM rods. Using titanium results in a lighter neck which in turn delivers better tone and playability.
Situated on the neck is a bound ebony fretboard with jumbo frets that have undergone the specialised Ibanez Prestige fret edge treatment for enhanced response and smooth left-hand fingering. The neck is slim, fast and durable.
The RGD7UCS-ISH has a basswood body featuring a great looking horn style scoop cut. Besides looking good, this cutaway lightens the weight of the guitar making it easier and more comfortable to play while providing faster and easier access to the higher frets.
The taper of the horns improves player comfort at the upper end of the fretboard; perfect for face-melting solos and extreme lead playing.
Hardcore Hardware
Seven Gotoh Magnum Lock Machineheads ensure that you get incredibly fast and precise tuning that stays tuned thanks to the incredible locking mechanism that Gotoh incorporates into their MG-T machineheads.
The Tight-End R-7 bridge was designed specifically for the Ibanez RG flat top and is a significant improvement over conventional fixed bridges.
The Tight-End R-7 delivers great playability and rock-solid stability. The saddles are firmly locked onto the base plate to maximise string vibration transmitted to the body while the bridge has been smoothed over to deliver extreme comfort no matter how hard or fast your playing is.
