Guitar and bass strings are made of hardened stainless steel or nickel with thicknesses as high as 3mm.
Ordinary diagonal cutters are designed for soft copper and as a result fail miserably when used on strings. GrooveTech String Cutters were developed specifically for this application, using a proprietary heat-treatment process. Despite its compact five-inch length, even “B” bass strings cut easily and dented blades will be a thing of the past.

Returns
If you and your item aren’t getting along, you have 14 days from when you receive the goods to contact our PMT experts either by phone or email to return your item.
*Please note, we cannot accept returns of:
- Special/Custom Orders - Any order that is custom or has been personalised.
- Products with Hygiene Seals - Microphones, any in-ear earphones, monitors, orchestral instruments with mouthpieces and any other items that touch your mouth, nose or inner ear if you have broken the hygienic seal on the packaging.
- Software & Media - Any software or media that has been opened or registered via physical or digital means.

Online Orders
