Featuring powerful new pickups and a chambered spruce centre block, this guitar produces a superb, organic tone that's suited to both Clean and Distorted signals.
High Quality Construction
Thanks to it's semi-hollow body and newly-designed chambered spruce centre block, the Gretsch G6659TG Players Edition Broadkaster is incredibly lightweight, and comfortable to play.
The body of this Broadkaster is slightly smaller than other Gretsch models, and is specially designed for tonal focus and feedback resistance.
In addition to this, the combination of an Azure Metallic finish and gleaming Gold hardware looks simply stunning, giving you the kind of class and style you'd expect from a Flagship Gretsch guitar.
Full'Tron Pickups
Sitting in the neck and bridge positions on the Gretsch G6659TG you'll find two newly-designed, U.S.-made Full'Tron pickups.
These pickups produce the kind of full-spectrum sonic range and growl we've come to expect from a high-end Gretsch. In addition to this they produce that classic Gretsch chime, balance, and brilliance, with extra-mid concentration that's perfect for overdriven laden passages.
