High Quality Construction
A large part of that instantly-recognisable Jet tone is down to the guitar's construction. Featuring a chambered mahogany body with a maple top, the natural resonance of the Gretsch Jet is one of full lows and mids, with an exceptionally smooth and present high end, resulting in a deep foundation that is robust as well as balanced.
Black Top Filter'Tron Pickups
A stalwart of the Gretsch Electromatic lineup, the Black Top Filter'Tron humbuckers on this Gretsch are perfectly matched to the chambered body construction.
These pickups perfectly amplify and accentuate the body's natural acoustics, to produce a wide, balanced and transparent tone that's both loud and punchy, with incredible definition at any level of gain. The overall voice is one with full, responsive lows and mids, with a high end that truly sparkles without ever sounding "ice-picky".
Total Tonal Control
With it's two individual pickup volumes, master tone, and master volume controls, you get complete control over the Gretsch G5230T's tone.
In addition to this, the Master Volume control features a built-in treble bleed circuit, ensuring that your tone isn't compromised when playing at lower output levels.
