Topped with a 12”-radius laurel fingerboard, you'll experience playability like no other. Complete with a classic Gretsch V Stoptail, you can push this guitar right to the limit, safe in the knowledge that the super-stable anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge and synthetic bone nut will keep you in tune for the duration.
Enhanced Tonality
But what is playability without tonality? The folks at Gretsch know this only too well. Fitted with a pair of newly-designed Gretsch FideliSonic 90 pickups, these single-coils push this guitar to its absolute tonal limit.
Retaining the rich, warm tones of a traditional P90 pickup, these FideliSonic 90's combine additional definition in the top end to produce a more articulate and distinct overall tone.
Vintage Styling
Elegantly sculpted from Mahogany, the smaller-scale 14" arched body features a chambered spruce center block to provide this guitar with heaps of resonance and sustain, right from the get-go - only further acoustically enhanced by the enlarged F-holes.
Brought together in superb Two-Tone Brownstone finish with a Vintage Mahogany Stain, this guitar boasts stylized pickup bezels, elegant aged white binding and a set of classic 'radio arrow' control knobs. Tasteful as can be - the G2655-P90 combines understated vintage styling with a little modern flourish for an unforgettable experience.
