The Gretsch G2220 Junior Jet Bass II's basswood body features a single cutaway. The Jet body shape not only looks great but makes it easy to reach the higher notes on the fretboard.
Attached to the body is a maple neck featuring a 30.3" medium scale length. With this shorter scale length, the Junior Jet Bass guitar is perfect for new bassists and those with smaller hands.
If you're transitioning from electric guitar over to bass, you'll definitely appreciate this scale length as it is much closer to what you're used to.
Aboard the neck is a black walnut fretboard that fits in nicely with the sleek black colour scheme of the bass. The fretboard holds 20 medium jumbo frets for all-around easy playability.
