With the Grand Prix lineup you get a range of snares that work equally well on stage of in the studio, giving you the bite of a metal drum but with a more controlled fundamental note.

Aluminium Shell
Constructed from a 1.2mm Aluminium shell, the Gretsch Full Range Grand Prix 14" x 5" Snare delivers a dry, focused attack with a minimal amount of overtones.
In addition to this, the lightnin throw off allows you to drop the snare wires instantly, giving you the option of a quick change of timbre mid performance.
Add in 302 hoops and 42-strand snare wires, and you get the kind of reliable and versatile sound that can punch through any mix with ease.
