Top-Shelf Tonewoods
The body on this bass is carved out of Mahogany with the traditional Thunderbird shape, but whilst the body is reversed for the more famous model, this particular bass keeps it the way in which it was originally designed.
When combined with the Mahogany neck you get an unmistakeable sonic warmth and full-bodied thump, with plenty of sustain, resonance, and durability, whilst your fingers will be able to dance liberally across each of the 20 frets on the Rosewood fingerboard.
Not only that, but the non-reverse shape results in a comfortable to play bass, however and wherever you choose to play it.
Thunderous Tones
Within the Thunderbird you'll find a pair of humbucker pickups, of the kind that are renowned for producing an earth-shattering roar that combines perfectly with the above-mentioned tonewoods, for ringing sustain and timeless Thunderbird presence.
Each pickup features independent Volume controls, whilst the Master Tone will allow you to shape your tone accordingly, to suit whatever musical situation you find yourself in.
