The Gibson Les Paul Special TV Yellow Guitar is a wonderful throwback to Gibson's Golden Era of guitar innovation.
Inspired by the original 1955 Les Paul Special design, this guitar has been a favourite of musicians the world over for more than six decades.
Classic-Style Single Cutaway Guitar
After the release and instant-popularity of the legendary les Paul Junior in 1954, Gibson decided to switch things up a bit and released the Les Paul Special the following year.
This awesome guitar saw Gibson take the Junior design and add in a second P-90 pickup, alongside individual Volume and Tone controls for extra tonal versatility.

Rock Solid Construction
With its solid Mahogany "slab" body, and set-in solid Mahogany neck, the Les Paul Special is renowned for producing a naturally harmonically-rich tone.
On top of this, the guitar features a classic Wraparound Bridge and a set of Vintage Deluxe tuners, which work together to offer increased intonation and tuning stability.
Dual P-90's
Where the Gibson Les Paul Special differs from the Les Paul Junior is in the inclusion of an extra P-90 pickup and corresponding controls.
P-90 pickups are Single Coil in nature, but due to the wider and shorter bobbins produce a warmer tone, with less edge and brightness. Essentially they're the ideal go-between of a Single Coil and Humbucker.
