Gibson's "Golden Era" of design and innovation saw the introduction of the Les Paul Junior - a slightly smaller, lighter, and more affordable alternative to the legendary Les Paul.
With its single P-90 pickup, the Les Paul Junior was an instant hit with players the world over.
Now, after years of requests from enthusiasts, Gibson have released a twin-pickup, double-cutaway variation of this fan-favourite.

Rock Solid Construction
Featuring that same, relatively slimline solid Mahogany body as the original Junior - albeit with a double cutaway design - and a set-in Maple neck, this guitar offers an incredibly comfortable playing experience.
In addition to this, there's a compensated wrap around bridge which not only offers an increase in natural sustain, but superior tuning stability.
Versatile Voice
In true Les Paul Junior style, the Les Paul Special Tribute DC is voiced by the classic P-90 pickup. Unlike the Junior though, this guitar comes with two pickups: one at the neck, one at the bridge.
These pickups are reverse-wound/reverse-polarity, meaning that if both are selected at the same time, there's a hum-cancelling effect that comes into play. In other words: ideal for when you really want to turn that volume up.
Whilst they may be Single Coil pickups, P-90's are tonally closer to humbuckers, producing a nice combination of rich harmonics and articulation.
