The body is made of Mahogany and features an elegantly arched Maple top. A single cutaway to the body gives you easy access to the upper frets for easy guitar solos.
Ultra-Modern weight relief means the Les Paul is more comfortable than ever to carry, so you can concentrate on your performance.
Highly Playable Neck
Attached to the body is a Mahogany neck with features an asymmetrical slim taper so your fretting hand has optimum support wherever your playing takes it.
The Modern fingerboard is made from genuine Ebony and boasts a compound radius to ensure incredible playability from chording to lead lines.
What’s more; thanks to the new Modern contoured heel, you get even easier access to the higher frets along with added sustain and stability.
High Quality Hardware
The Les Paul Modern also benefits from a few hardware upgrades including Grover locking Rotomatic tuners which offering ultra-precise and secure tuning of your strings.
Installed on the body, you’ll find an aluminium Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, providing precise intonation across all six strings while strengthening tuning stability and sustain.
Highly Versatile Electronics
Giving the Gibson Les Paul Modern vintage tone with modern precision is a set of two Burstbucker humbucking pickups.
The neck pickup is a Burstbucker Pro Rhythm and is backed up by a Burstbucker Pro + Lead pickup in the bridge position.
Using Alnico 5 magnets, these pickups give you fat, meaty tone that is complex and clear.
The control assembly gives you a wide range of option for incredible tonal versatility.
Each pickup has dedicated volume and tone knobs so you can get the perfect blend from these powerful humbuckers.
All four are push-poll pots, allowing you to switch between the full Gibson humbucker sound and single-coil P90 style sound and activate phase or pure bypass options.
A toggle switch is also on hand so you can select either humbucker individually or bother together at once.
