Unique Design
Straight away, the reverse body shape and headstock give the Gibson Firebird a unique appearance.
The shoulder design of the body also grants easy access to the upper frets which is great for solos.
A traditional 9-ply mahogany/walnut neck is in place with neck-through-body construction providing rich, warm tone and incredible sustain.
The neck boasts a slim taper for great playability and a classic rosewood fretboard.
Alnico V Firebird Pickups
Fitted with Alnico V magnets, the Gibson Firebird's pickups deliver powerful, aggressive and punchy sound.
A toggle switch allows you to choose which pickup to use; Rhythm, Lead or both at once.
Each pickup has its own volume and tone controls so you can get the tone exactly how you want it.
High Quality Hardware
Up on the Gibson Firebird's distinctive reverse headstock, there are six Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners.
These small tuning machines provide secure and precise tuning of your strings.
An aluminium Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, backed up by a an aluminium stop bar, provides precise intonation and improved sustain.
