Premium-Grade Construction
True to the form of the original early 1960s model, this electro acoustic guitar features the classic Dove Square-Shoulder Dreadnought shape, with a back and sides crafted from Flame Maple, and a top piece of Sitka Spruce.
These woods, combined with the longer 25.5" scale length, result in a crisp, clear tone and projection, combined with balanced and warmth aplenty.
In addition to this, the guitar features a whole host of classic Dove details, such as a bone nut and saddle, double antiqued multi-ply binding, nickel Grover keystone tuners, traditional Dove truss rod cover, and even a pickguard with inlaid mother-of-pearl Dove alongside hand-engraving and painted detailing.
LR Baggs VTC
Complimenting the guitar's naturally exquisite voice is an LR Baggs VTC undersaddle pickup and preamp system, adding excellent plug n' play capabilities to this already stunning guitar.
This electronics system is specially-designed to help breathe life into your signal, to deliver a natural warmth to your amplified sound, whilst the touch-sensitive EQ responds in realtime to your playing dynamics, delivering an accurate recreation of every nuance of your playing style.
