In a departure from traditional Telecaster builds, the Parallel Universe II Troublemaker Tele Deluxe has a body of mahogany.
This solid chunk of mahogany enhances the mid-range growl of your tone while increasing sustain.
Bolt-on construction joins a mahogany neck to the Troublemaker Tele Deluxe's body with its satin finish and modern "C" shape providing a silky smooth, comfortable feel.
Atop the mahogany neck is a maple fretboard with a 12" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets allowing for wide bends and aggressive playing while providing beautifully smooth action.
Dual Custom Double Tap Humbuckers
Delivering the one-two punch of the Fender Parallel Universe II Troublemaker Tele Deluxe's powerful voice is a set of two custom DoubleTap humbuckers.
These pickups have a unique, patent-applied-for design which gives you the full-bodied tone of humbuckers but with the articulate edge of single-coil pickups.
A three-position pickup switch on the Troublemaker Telecaster Deluxe's upper bout allows you to select between using either pickup or both together.
Furthermore, each pickup has its own dedicated volume and tone controls for you to sculpt your sound to perfection.
Classy Gold Hardware
Adding to the class of an already refined and distinguished instrument, the hardware (and pickup covers) are all gold.
On the Stratocaster style headstock, there are six gold die-cast tuners providing precise and secure tuning of your strings.
Down on the body, there's an Adjusto-Matic bridge with an anchored tailpiece providing precise intonation and enhanced sustain.
