Unique Style
With its offset body, the Fender Mustang Bass has a unique design. The cutaway shaping grants easy access to the frets while its short scale length makes it easy to play.
Making it ideal if you're new to bass or transitioning from electric guitar, that shorter scale length puts everything in easy reach.
The 30" scale length also results in a darker, richer tone.
The neck is made from maple and has a comfortable "C" shape. Atop the neck is a matching maple fretboard with a modern 9.5" radius for easy all-around playability.
Versatile Electronics
Giving you the best of both worlds, as its name suggests; the Fender Mustang Bass PJ has a PJ pickup configuration.
This means you have a split-coil Precision Bass pickup giving you that classic, punchy sound along with a Jazz Bass pickup in the bridge position for some extra growl.
This Vintage-Style pickups give you the unmistakeable bass sound you know and love from some of the greatest records of all time.
A three-way pickup switch allows you to use either of these pickups on their own or both together.
Master Volume and Tone controls are also on hand so you can shape your sound to your liking.

Featuring a nickel and chrome finish, high quality hardware can be found throughout the Fender Mustang Bass PJ to ensure fantastic performance.
