Top Notch Construction
In true classic Fender tradition, this guitar has been crafted with an Alder body - a wood renowned for its excellent sustain, resonant tone, and pronounced upper mid-range.
The traditional Telecaster single-cutaway body shape allows easy access to the upper frets on the neck.
Effortlessly Playable Neck
Bolted-on to the body is a sleek Maple neck, crafted with a modern "C"-profile shape, and capped with a Maple fingerboard - all of which boasts a Satin finish, for an exceptionally smooth and comfortable playing experience.
In addition to this, the fingerboard has been carved with a modern 9.5" radius, and equipped with 22 jumbo sized frets, offering easy playability along with accurate, effortless string bends.
Newly Designed Pickups
For the American Performer series, Fender have turned to their chief pickup designer Tim Shaw to get an incredible array of tones from their guitars. These new Yosemite single-coil pickups deliver in style, with their beautifully rich and expressive tones that help makes the guitar suitable for a wide range of styles.
With their flat-staggered pole pieces, the Yosemite Single Coil Tele pickups offer increased output, and sport the appropriate coatings which allow the coil to breathe freely whilst keeping feedback under control.
In addition to this, the electronics on this guitar host Greasebucket circuitry. This allows you to shape your sound with the Master Tone control without compromising the Tele's signature crisp and clear voice.
Rock Solid Hardware
Completing the package, the guitar comes equipped with some premium-grade hardware.
Situated on the distinctive Telecaster headstock you'll find a set of Fender ClassicGear tuners, with an 18:1 tuning ratio for pin-point tuning position.
In addition to this, the tuners and nut are complimented by a 3-saddle, string-thru-body Tele bridge, which provides that classic Tele look and enhanced natural sustain.
