Postmodern Strat
Postmodern instruments from the Fender Custom Shop are not bound by any particular year or design era, instead paying homage to more than six decades of "Fender Firsts" based on the instrument.
The end result is an incredibly player-friendly guitar with incredible tone and performance-enhancing features, which allows freedom of creative expression like never before.
Premium-Quality Construction
Unlike a traditional Strat, this Custom Shop Postmodern model features a number of distinct-yet-discreet changes to deliver an altogether different playing experience.
For starters, there's the single coil pickups which come to us as a Hand Wound Texas Special at the Bridge (for a biting, overdriven sound), Fat 50s in the middle (Vintage Strat tone), and a warm-sounding '69 at the neck.
In addition to this we have a 12" radius fingerboard, that's specially designed to offer a slick, modern playing feel, wherever you're playing on the neck.
