Top Notch Construction
Each component on this guitar has been carefully selected to help recreate that vintage 50's Strat vibe.
From it's iconic double-cutaway Ash body, to it's '54-style "U" profile maple neck, this guitar manages to evoke that mid-50's spirit in style.
Lush Closet Classic
Fender Custom Shop LCC guitars (aka Lush Closet Classic) are designed to offer the look of an aged instrument that's been meticulously taken care of for decades.
This treatment includes mild discolouration to the plastics, slight oxidation to the hardware, and a finish that's aged like a fine wine.
Era-Authentic Electronics
To recreate the sound of a Golden-Age strat, the Fender Custom Shop 1955 Strat comes equipped with a trio of Fender Custom Shop Fat '50s Pickups.
These pickups have been created using Alnico 5 magnets, along with formvar wires, period-correct cloth wire, and fibre bobbins - giving them the authentic 50's sound that launched the Strat's initial popularity.
You need not worry about them keeping up with modern day guitars though - the hot-rodded wiring design gives them an increased bass response, and plenty of modern punch.
