Solid Top 12-String Guitar
For the top of the Fender CD-60SCE 12-string guitar, solid Spruce has been used. Known for its strength and elasticity, Spruce boasts a broad dynamic range suitable for all styles of acoustic playing.
Able to produce rich, loud tones Spruce is an extremely popular top wood for acoustic guitars.
Scalloped X-bracing ensures a sturdy build while aiding resonance and projection.
Since it has a solid top, this 12-string guitar will sound better with age. The more you play the guitar, the more resonant the solid top becomes.
The body also features a cutaway making it easier to reach the upper frets.
Easy-to-Play Neck
Attached to the body is a Mahogany neck. It has been made with Fender’s “Easy-to-Play” neck shape and features comfortably rolled fretboard edges.
As a result, this neck provides a comfortable feel for your fret hand which makes it easier to play and will be appreciated by experienced players and beginners alike.
The Walnut fretboard provides a nicely playing area for your fretting fingers and features 20 frets along with great looking 3mm pearloid dot inlays.
