The EVH Wolfgang Special was fine-tuned by Eddie Van Halen himself, designed to be a versatile music-making machine with a striking, unique stage presence.

Road-tested in arenas around the world, the Wolfgang Special delivers giant sound and high-speed playability. The latest edition of the Wolfgang now features an Ebony fretboard, still allowing for silky smooth fretboard runs and wonderful aesthetic appeal, offset against a gorgeous Satin Orange Crush finish and matching headstock.
Solid Body Sound
The Wolfgang Special features a basswood body with an arched top and a robust graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn maple neck. The neck is carved and rolled to Eddie Van Halen’s exacting specifications and features a hand-rubbed urethane back finish.
Comfort and Precision
Primed for high performance, energetic riffing and blazing leads, the 12”-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard has 22 jumbo frets and pearloid dot inlays.
Fine-Tuned Performance
Truss rod adjustments have also never been easier thanks to a spoke wheel conveniently located at the base of the neck. Tuning stability is guaranteed with a dependable EVH Floyd Rose locking trem and locking nut. EVH are rewnowned for their rugged hardware, tried and tested on stages all over the world.
Kitted out with a pair of Direct-Mount EVH Alnico 2 humbucker pickups, the Wolfgang Special is rearing and ready to rock. A 3-position toggle switch gives you full tonal control when you need it most.
