Made to Eddie Van Halen's Own Spec
Attached to the Ash body of this limited edition EVH Wolfgang Special via sturdy bolt-on construction is a quartersawn Maple neck.
This neck has been made to Eddie Van Halen's own exacting specifications and is carved and rolled to provide fantastic comfort and playability.
The back of the neck has been treated to a hand-rubbed urethane finish giving you incredibly smooth and slick performance.
Atop the neck is a 12" - 16" compound radius Ebony fretboard. With this morphing radius you get the perfect rounded shape for comfortable chording around the nut. Move up to the higher frets and the fingerboard flattens out making it ideal for deep bends and solos.
Furthermore, graphite reinforcement rods are in place to protect the neck from warping due to adverse temperature and humidity.

Up on the distinctive matched headstock of the EVH Wolfgang Special Ash is a set of EVH-branded tuners providing secure and precise tuning of your strings.
Down on the arched Ash body of this limited edition EVH guitar is an EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo bridge.
Not only does this bridge provide all the deep dive-bombing, expressive performance potential you need but it works in tandem with the locking Floyd Rose nut to ensure incredible tuning stability.
Furthermore, the Floyd Rose bridge features an EVH D-Tuna which you can use to switch to drop-D tuning back back with the flick of a finger.

Giving this EVH Wolfgang Special its powerful howl are two of EVH's flagship humbuckers.
For both the neck and bridge pickups, the EVH LTD Wolfgang Special Ash boasts EVH Wolfgang Zebra humbucking pickups.
These pickups have all the girth for heavy riffage and powerful chords but with the articulation needed for melodic, intricate performance.
Furthermore, as they are mounted directly to the body, you get increased sustain so your Wolfgang Special can really sing.
The volume control is fitted with a 500K EVH Bourns low friction pot so you can get smooth swells in your output.
In contrast, the Tone control is equipped with a 250K EVH Bourns high friction pot so your tone shaping is incredibly precise.
