Bringing it to the present day, the latter shredder can rejoice in the 5150 Standard's refined playability and robust construction to handle regular use.
Crafted to excel at life on the road, the 5150 comes with a Graphite-reinforced Maple neck profile, which is slimmed and refined to ensure a controllable hold across all frets. Combine that with the streamline Strat inspired Basswood body, and you're in for an exhilarating performance that's overflowing in nostalgia.
Sonically ruthless, the 5150 Standard evolves from the original by having a duo of EVH Direct Mount Wolfgang Humbucking pickups, delivering a dynamic personality like nothing before. So this six-string has you covered whether you need a heavy, blistering drive for a solo, or even a shimmering clean tone by rolling back the volume control!
Last but not least, it wouldn't be an Eddie Van Halen homaged guitar without a tremolo system. The EVH branded Floyd Rose bridge lets you lose yourself in 80s nostalgia and the ability dive-bomb without affecting your tuning stability. Adding to that, the patented D-Tuna hardware gives you the ability to go from drop-D to standard tuning in an instant!
