Providing the tone that made Eddie Van Halen a household name, the 5150 amp head has been meticulously crafted by highly regarded amp engineer, James Brown.
Powered by four JJ 6L6 power tubes and voiced by a duo of JJ ECC83S preamp tubes, players are enabled with a sound that's jam-packed with firepower. Ideal for the latter-day player wanting more from their amp!

Versatile Tone Channels
The 5150 Iconic Amp Head consists of two channels, both featuring an extra voicing for additional versatility. The Green channel supplies you with spectacular versatility, enabling you to jump from cleans to increased gain. Whereas the Red channel delivers ferocious bite, that's ideal for making scorching leads stand out!
Vast Selection of Controls
With each channel featuring gain and volume controls, players are able to level match the volume when jumping between both channels. The impressive noise gate on channel two quickly suppresses any unwanted hiss without compromising your guitar tone, meaning you're always ensured exceptional sonic quality!
That's not all though as the Boost control allows you to easily add an additional 10Db to your tone, perfect for making sure your solos can be heard clearly and cut through the live mix!
With additional EQ controls, a global resonance and presence and an overall reverb control, achieving the perfect guitar live tone has never been easier!
