Unmatched versatility and durability. The Evans UV2 Coated Drumhead features a patented UV cured coating, providing excellent durability and preventing chipping and other general wear to the coating of the drum head. With a 2-ply, 7mil film construction, the Evans UV2 drumhead delivers warmer tonal characteristics and increases the resistance to damage.
The Level 360 Technology provides the drumhead with a consistent fit and a wide tuning range, guaranteeing an even contact.
The very ease of being able to tune these heads and for them to stay in tune is woreth the purchase alone. The heads sits on the baring edge flatter and true than any other head we have seen.
the coating is seriously durable, and keeps your drums looking clean and sounding their best a lot longer than usual.
Yes the tuning may slip but a twist and turn of that problem lug and you are good to go.
We are really impressed with the touch and response, the attack is punchy and overtones can be controlled very easily (maybe try dropping one lug, thank me later!)
