Etch Your Sound
If you want to make your own musical path and etch your own sound, Evans have a drumhead for you.
Featuring a single ply 10 mil film construction and an etched coating, these heads are ideal for toms or timbales. The robust textured finish is designed not to chip away under drumsticks.
The etched coating makes these heads perfect for brush playing. They also offer great sensitivity at all dynamic levels.
With minimal attack but lots of sustain and full tone, these heads offer a full well-rounded response.
Also available in 10” and 12” sizes.
Level 360 Technology
As with all Evans drum heads, this Etched drumhead features unique Level 360 Technology.
This technology consists of a steeper collar to the rim of the drum head which ensures balanced contact with the shell bearing edge. This means the head makes proper contact with the shell ensuring a consistent fit so that the head won't damage easily or lose tension. The rim of the head also features a roll-over hoop designed to improve the strength and stability of the head without diminishing performance.
This technology ensures a more consistent head to shell contact that provides a wider range of tuning, better responsiveness and resonance, and a stronger, longer lasting head. What’s not to like?
