The Evans Hydraulic Red Series 16" Drum Head features oil filled plies to ensure increased durability plus Evans unique Level 360 Technology for correct head to shell contact.
Tough Tone in a Colourful Head
The Evans Hydraulic Red Series features a thin layer of oil between two plies of 7mil film for extra durability and strength. The fat, deep tone that these heads produce is reminisent of the sound pioneered by early 70s rock and roll.
Less Time Tuning, More Time Playing
Famously easy to tune these heads are the perfect choice for fixing troublesome drums or for those with limited tuning experience.
Science In Sound
The Hydraulic Red Series is built using the Evans Level 360 Technology to extend the level playing surface of the head around the whole of the drum. The vertically enhanced collar is designed to guarantee even contact with the bearing edge of the drum shell. The result is easy tuning, extended pitch range and an optimum quality of sound.
