This new technology consists of a steeper collar to the rim of the drum head which ensures balanced contact with the shell bearing edge. The rim of the drum head also features roll-over hoop designed to improve the strength and stability of the head without diminishing performance. This technology ensures a more consistent head to shell contact that provides a wider range of tuning, better responsiveness and resonance, and a stronger, longer lasting head. Sounds like a win win!
