DW's 5000 Extended 'XF' footboard has fast become a popular go-to option for players who want increased power with extra room for bigger feet and to accommodate drummers who like to play towards the bottom of the board given the extra inch in length for more playability and speed.
The extra footboard length also helps with making heel-toe doubles, making them easier to execute with the incredible response from the AD4 Cam.
Beyond the XL footboard, this model includes all the professional enhancements that players expect from the 5000 Series single pedal. The AD4 "Accelerator" drive system offers an eccentric motion that creates an indirect relationship between the sprocket and the footboard, increasing the velocity of the pedal by shortening the length of the stroke for extra speed and sensitivity.
What's impressive about these pedals is right out of the box they feel great and super smooth. there is a more distinguished weight to DW pedals than any other brand and a feeling of extra power much more than any other pedals on the market.
