- Legendary Fuzz Effect - The original "Octavia" was a prototype octave fuzz, designed by Hendrix's sound technician, Roger Mayer. This effect became a staple of Hendrix's sound from 1967 onwards, and can be heard on such hits as Purple Haze.
- Pedalboard-Friendly - A smaller, "Mini"-style enclosure ensures that this pedal needs the minimal amount of real-estate on your pedalboard, allowing you to slot it into most boards with ease.
- Dual Mode Operation - In standard mode this pedal delivers an accurate take on the original cheese wedge Octavio Fuzz, but with the reliability of a modern pedal. At the press of the Octave switch you get that classic Octave Up fuzz. Both modes bring a range of touch-sensitive fuzz tones into play, inspiring you to venture into all new sonic territory.
- Iconic Aesthetics - To complete the experience, all Authentic Hendrix '68 Shrine Series pedals feature custom finishes that helps to remix the famous 1968 Shrine Auditorium concert poster art of celebrated artist John Van Hamserveld. In the case of this pedal you get stylised wings soaring above a psychedelic landscape, evoking the musical journey that Hendrix's work takes us on.
- Buffered Bypass - The buffered bypass switching on this pedal offers a superb range of tones along with full co-operation with wah pedals - but if you're a tonal purist, have no fear as you can switch to True Bypass at the push of a button!
