The PMT special order program is a method of purchasing an item that are either:
- Already in stock at a different PMT store or warehouse from the one you visit.
- Out of stock and need to be acquired by a PMT special order from a supplier.
When the item(s) are available at PMT and ready for shipment or collection, you will be notified in person in-store, by email, and by telephone.
Deposit Values - In Stock & Out of Stock Items
If the item is already in-stock at PMT, a 100% deposit is required to hold the item for 28 days.
If the item is NOT in-stock at PMT and PMT makes a special order to acquire the item(s) at the customer's request, a 100% non-refundable deposit is required.
Can I cancel a deposit?
If the item was already in stock at PMT when you paid your deposit, you may cancel your order within 28 days, or at any time before collection or delivery. 
In the event of cancellation, we will offer you:
- PMT credit to the same value of the item(s) that you are cancelling.
- An exchange for other goods for the value of the cancellation.
- A refund in full.
If the item was not in stock at PMT and we make a special order to acquire it from a supplier then the deposit will not be cancellable, and PMT will be unable to refund or credit your deposit payment.
Can my item(s) be sold when I use the deposit program?
Once you make a deposit part payment on the item(s), we will remove the item from our sales channels and store it securely. Unless you decide to cancel the deposit or fail to clear the balance in the allotted time, the item(s) will be made available for general sale.
Collection/Shipment of deposit orders
Once we have informed you that the order is ready, you have 28 days to collect it or arrange shipment with us.
If you do not collect or arrange shipment of your special order PMT reserves the right to deliver the item(s) by courier directly to the original order's name and address. If after 28 days, we are unable to contact you to arrange collection or shipment PMT reserves the right to terminate your special order.
