Front Panel Features

• Input: Connect your instrument via a standard ¼" mono cable. Passive/Active: Toggle between passive and active mode, ideal for hotter signals from active basses that desire additional distortion.
• X: Activate the Microtubes X Engine to compress and distort your bass signal in separate bands. Enhance the clean low end while distorting highs from articulate to aggressive.
• Clean Comp: Engage the compressor circuit for the clean channel.
• Vol (Clean Comp): Set the clean channel's level with the compressor engaged. HPF (High Pass Filter): Adjust the high pass filter cutoff frequency, varying from 100 Hz (for a fuzzier saturation) to 1 kHz (for sharp definition).
• Drive: Control the distortion amount for the high pass side.
• Mix: Blend compressed lows with distorted highs.
• LPF (Low Pass Filter): Manage the low pass filter's cutoff frequency, ranging from 50 Hz (sub-bass only) to 500 Hz (preserving clean mids).
• Comp: Dictate compression amount for the low band when the X Engine is active. This also controls compression when the clean signal's compressor is engaged.
• Level: Adjust the output volume of the X channel.
• Bass: Boost or cut ±12 dB @ 80 Hz.
• Mids: Sculpt the midrange with ±12 dB at 250, 500, 1.5k, and 3 kHz.
• Treble: Shape the highs with ±12 dB @ 3 kHz.
• Master: Set the overall volume.
• Mute: Instantly mute the amplifier.
