Cordoba are fast becoming a household name with Classical Guitar and Ukulele enthusiasts across the country, with their hand-made instruments being not only aesthetically pleasing, but comfortable to play and tonally sublime.
All Ovangkol Construction, Premium-Grade Concert Ukulele
Cordoba's 23 series of ukulele's is their newest lineup, and feature an all exotic-wood construction. In the case of the 23C you get a Concert-sized Ukulele, with a solid Ovangkol top that is paired with Ovangkol back and sides, a Rosewood bridge and fingerboard, Mahogany neck and Ovagnkol headstock veneer.
Ovangkol is a beautiful looking wood that varies in visual tone, ranging from a rich orange to a darker brown, and is often streaked with gray, purple or even black. Tonally it is similar to Rosewood, but with a slightly fuller mid-range.
