Crafted for Excellent Playability
The body has been made from Alder and features a gorgeous Quilted Maple top which shows up beautifully through the unique Chlorine Burst finish.
A double cutaway to the body grants you easy access to the higher frets for unobstructed, high-flying guitar solos.
Attached to the body is a Speed Neck designed for lightning fast performance and featuring a hand-rubbed satin finish for comfortably smooth playability.
The Maple fretboard has a 12” – 16” compound radius so you get the perfect grip whether you’re strumming chords around the lower frets or performing deep bends higher up.
The fingerboard edges of the Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 have been rolled, giving you the level of comfortable playability you’d expect from a guitar you’ve been playing for years, right from day one!
Graphite reinforcement rods have been installed in the 2-piece Maple neck making it resistant to warping.
High-Output Seymour Duncan Humbucking Pickups
Giving this majestic guitar its mighty roar is a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers.
For the bridge pickup, there is a Seymour Duncan JB SH-4 humbucker providing incredible harmonics, fantastic sustain, gritty distortion and high output.
To accompany it, Charvel have installed a Seymour Duncan ’59 SH-1 neck pickup which boasts a vintage PAF style sound with clear, bright attack, full low end and sweet sustain.
Both pickups are directly mounted to the body’s pickup cavity, for that extra punch it adds to your tone.
The volume control conceals a push/pull coil split option for further tonal variety.
What’s more, the No-Load Tone Control acts as a standard tone control from positions 1 to 9 but completely removes itself from the circuit at position 10, giving you the true voice of the Pro-Mod San Dimas guitar.
A 3-position blade is also on board allowing you to choose from the following options:
- Position 1: Bridge Pickup
- Position 2: Both Inner Coils
- Position 3: Neck Pickup
With the split engaged you then open up a second set of pickup options:
- Position 1: Bridge Outer Coil
- Position 2: Both Outer Coils
