100% English Yew
As with all British Drum Co drums, the Archer snare is made by hand in the North West of England to the highest quality standards.
Constructed from 10 plies of 100% English Yew Wood, the BDC Archer offers an alternative to the standard birch and maple drums on the market.
Yew was traditionally used in the creation of longbows by medieval English archers who favoured the wood because of its durable flexibility and robust strength.
British Drum Co have taken the characteristics of English Yew and injected them into the world of drums.

Cold Mould
All the British Drum Company drums are made using their unique cold press moulding process.
The plies of the drums are painstakingly hand cut to precise sizes, glued and placed into the mould where they are then pressed at room temperature.
The result is a drum shell with exceptional structural and tonal integrity.
Archer Aesthetics
The British Drum Company Archer snare drum has a stunning aesthetic.
Featuring eye catching trimmings, the 14" x 6" Archer has the attention to detail we've come to expect from the BDC range.
The Archer is fitted with vintage style mini claws, gold plated tension rods and a beautiful golden B badge embellished with green sycamore in recognition of British Drum Co's English heritage.
Adding a classy touch the vent badge of the snare is shaped like an arrow head, perfectly tying in the snare's name and the English Yew link to longbow crafting.
The snare is finished off with British Drum Co's beautiful palladium lugs and strainer, brass snare wires and black B logo snare straps.
