The Valve Amp Redefined
Blackstar's HT-Venue MKII lineup is the end result of more than 3 years of intensive R&D and market research.
The amps in this award-winning lineup - such as this HT-Club 40 MKII - takes your performance to a whole new level, and is packed full of flexible and intuitive features.
Crisp and Clear Clean Tones
With two voices available on the clean channel, the HT-Club 40 MKII offers the ultimate in clean tone quality and flexibility. The first voice is based on a classic American circuit, whilst the second is based on a classic British tone.
This voice switch completely reconfigures the preamp voicing, EQ, and valve gain structure, as well as the power amp damping.
The end result is a clean, bright and tight solid bass response for the American voice, and a highly responsive 'chime' with loose bottom for the British voice that's just made to be pushed into a warm, tube overdrive tone.
As with the Clean channel, the Overdrive channels on the HT-Club 40 MKII comes with two distinct voices. Drawing upon the original award-winning HT Venue Series, the high gain voices on this amp are both tight and focused.
The HT-Club 40 MKII puts a broad palette of overdrive tones at your disposal, and even recalls specific voice settings from when you last used the selected channel.
Whilst the gain on these channels can be pushed into high territories, the amp manages to avoid any of the top-end 'fizz' that's normally found on other high gain amps.
In addition to this, due to the unique preamp/power amp shaping techniques used in the HT-Club 40 MKII, if you roll back the guitar's volume those heavy, high gain tones manage to clean up beautifully.
Thanks to the supplied 2-way footswitch, you can activate each mode of this amplifier on the fly. This results int he widest possible selection of stage accessible valve tones, along with footswitchable boost on all channels.
Furthermore, if you feel like switching things up a little, you can purchase the optional Blackstar FS-14 5-Way Footswitch, adding even more tonal flexibility to your arsenal.
