The mighty evolution of the K2600 which was released back in 2008, the Kurzweil K2700 Keyboard Workstation is an 88 key fully weighted keyboard workstation that offers everything Kurzweil has to offer within one sleek design.
Offering all of Kurzweil's vast selection of music creation tools including 8GB flash-play sample memory with over half available for user-installable sounds, the K2700 supplies all three of Kurzweil's innovative and premium piano samples along with multiple synthesis engines, 256 voice polyphony that's double the amount of any previous K-Series model, an extensive V.A.S.T, a built-in USB audio interface, and finally two stereo analogue audio inputs that includes two mic preamps. Results in a flawless functionality that's sure to be essential for any recording session and live performance for any pro.
Key Features:
K-FM 6-Operator FM Synthesizer: Allowing users to explore and immerse themselves into an array of throwback sounds, the onboard 6-operator FM Synthesizer can be utilised as a part of layered programs. Thick-layered FM sounds can be crafted from multiple instances that are utilised in a single program, resulting in unique and impressive sounds in an instant.
Flashplay 8GB Sample Playback: Spectacularly powerful to handle the demands of the latter-day musician, the K2700 comes with up to 8GB total capacity with zero-loading time to ensure a seamless, slick performance at all times. With 4.5GB of pre-loaded factory sounds, users can simply explore and experiment with over 1500 programs and 700 multi-layered programs which are categorised into 13 sections such as synths, pianos and orchestral. In addition to this, players are also able to upload 3.5Gb of their very own custom samples, supporting sample formats such as .WAV .AIF and also Kurzweil formats.
Organ Simulator: Taken from its predecessor's in the K-Series, the refined KB3 Tonewheel Organ Simulator has been refined and tweaked to use less polyphony than its previous incarnations for a smoother performance.
Broad V.A.S.T Synthesis: Boasting a selection of wavetables, filters, wave shapers, envelope generators, and K-FM modulators that can be graphically patched using the high-res onboard screen, the K2700's Extended V.A.S.T. is a comprehensive synth system that's sure to tick every box for the producers and performers.
KD-FX Effects System: Featuring a KD-FX Effects System, the K2700 comes with a wide selection of insert and master effects blocks which can be graphically patched in almost limitless combinations.
