As part of the Ashdown PRO FX lineup, and after a coffee-fueled discussion, Ashdown and Guy have collaborated on the creation of his own signature compressor pedal: the Ashdown Macchiato!
Comprehensive EQ
Fine-tuned to meet Guy's specific needs, this 'special blend' personalised compression ratio EQ makes 3-bands available for you to adjust. You get controls for Dark (Bass), Medium (Middle), and Light (Treble).
These easy-to-use controls mean that fine-tuning your ideal tone couldn't be more simple.
Not does it fine-tune your tone, but the Macchiato also retains every expressive nuance of your playing, meaning that none of the fine details are lost when it's engaged - something that other compressor pedals are often guilty of doing.
Subsonic Filter
The two-way Subsonic Filter switch on the Macchiator Compressor helps to reduce often-problematic frequencies that are renowned for interfering with stage elements and causing damage to speaker cabs.
Essentially, the Ashdown Macchiato Compressor acts as a boosted EQ - perfect for helping your bass to truly sing out.

If you and your item aren’t getting along, you have 14 days from when you receive the goods to contact our PMT experts either by phone or email to return your item.
