Fundamental to its design, the unique Type 1 metal film capsule, complete with a precision-tuned 3-micron metal diaphragm, delivers an exceptionally stable and accurate response with an ultra-low self-noise of 7dBa - meaning your recordings will be as crisp and as clear as you could possibly want. Crafted to a half-inch size, the diaphragm has been meticulously designed to capture the 'sweet spot' from acoustic sound sources, providing a level of detail that conventional diaphragms simply cannot produce.
Complete with built-in shielding, you can guarantee the internal precision-machined electro-mechanical components will remain fully shielded from unwanted external interference - only adding to this microphones stunning clarity and low-noise output.
