Excellent Features

Part of the Aston Spirit microphone's signature look is the distinctive wave-form spring head.

This unique design also boasts an incredible degree of protection for the microphone's capsule.

In addition to these protective characteristics, the wave-form spring head is also able to offer a high degree of off-axis rejection, significantly reducing unwanted artefacts in your recordings.

Exclusive to Aston's condenser microphones is the built-in mesh-knit pop filter which can be found within the wave-form head.

This weave allows sound to pass through while eliminating many of the unwanted plosives that would've otherwise made it into your recording.

Furthermore, the stainless steel weaving shields against multiple electromagnetic radiation wavelengths so you can safely use the Aston Spirit Black in sensitive electronic applications.

Allowing you to capture virtually any source you want, the Aston Spirit Black boasts three selectable pickup patterns; Omni, cardioid and figure-of-eight.

Another design feature unique to Aston mics is the custom moulded endcap which features an integrated XLR connector and universal stand thread adaptor.

The Aston Spirit Black's internal shock absorption is so effective, you can mount the microphone directly to the mic stand.
