The Ashdown ABM 600-DR-EVO IV is the fifth incarnation of the incredible rackmount bass head, and delivers a combination of cutting-edge preamplification with raw power and awesome tone-shaping capabilities.
This awesome amplifier has been engineered to survive life on the road, with front and rear rack-mountable brackets and a 2mm mild steel chassis, ensuring it's kept safe and sound when traveling between shows.

Variable Valve Drive Plus
Ashdown's legendary VVD preamp has seen an upgrade for the EVO IV lineup, and now delivers even more current to the 12AX7 valve, delivering more drive and harmonic content than ever before.
This allows you to dial in sounds ranging from pristine cleans, to one of the finest bass overdrives available - a drive which can be easily selected or de-selected via footswitch.
Sophisticated EQ
As with its forebears, the ABM 600-DR-EVO IV features the kind of tone-shaping capabilities that will make even the most fastidious of bass players sit up and take notice.
This amp head features controls for Bass, Middle, and Treble (as standard), alongside 6 sliders to provide pin-point precise cut and boost to 100 Hz, 180 Hz, 340 Hz, 1.3 KHzm 2.6 KHz, and 5 KHz.
As with the overdrive effect, this EQ can be activated or de-activated via footswitch to take you from a flat, fretless sound through to your favourite EQ setting in an instant.
Further Tone-Shaping
In addition to the 9-Band EQ, this awesome, rack-mountable bass head features two additional mainstays within the EVO lineup: the One-Knob Compressor, and the Sub-Harmonic Generator.
The compressor ensures you get a powerful, even sound that helps you fill out any mix, whilst the Sub-Harmonic Generator allows you to dial in anything from a subtle hint of deep bass to a full-on subterranean rumble.
Studio-Grade Connectivity
As you've come to expect from Ashdown, the ABM 600-DR-EVO IV is packed full of connectivity options.
Amongst the available connections, you'll find a tuner output, line out, transparent FX loop, and a line input for external sampler or sound source.
