What bands have you been in?

I have been in bands on and off since I was 14, with my longest stint playing banjo, mandolin and guitar in folk-punk band Smokey Bastard. I also record, produce, mix and master at my home studio.

What was your first instrument?

I started playing piano when I was about 6 and took up the violin a couple of years later. I picked up guitar and bass guitar when I was about 14 and started playing mandolin and banjo when I joined a folk-punk band in my 20s.

Who are three people or bands who have highly influenced you in music?

Mike Patton in all his bands, Cardiacs and Josh Homme in all his bands.
