The Audio Technica ATM230 is a hypercardioid instrument mic is a compact drum model added to the popular artist series. The capsule is designed to handle high SPL applications making it perfect for delivering full, well rounded audio with exceptional low end. The hypercardioid polar pattern keeps the focus on the sound source whilst the slim profile design makes it perfect for many applications.

The ATM230 features rugged metal construction that stands up to the rigors of live and studio applications, and comes with an AT8665 drum mount and a protective pouch.
