The Symphony I/O MkII 2x6 features balanced inputs on 2 female XLR connectors and 6 balanced outputs on 1 DSUB 25-pin connector. This provides 8 channels of I/O simultaneously. A sample rate of 44.1kHz - 192kHz with a latency measured at 1.35ms means you can record superb audio quality with almost zero latency. The 2x6 can be expanded with more I/O by purchasing further Apogee Expansion Modules.
