Excellent Birmingham store service - Dave A****
I was greeted by a chap called Dave and i explained i was interested in buying another guitar, a Fender Stratocaster to be precise. I explained i wanted to try a few options and in particular i was attracted to flashy looking guitars. I selected several to play and Dave took me to a practice room where i spent a couple of hours playing different guitars. His knowledge was excellent and he was very patient. Dave listened to what i wanted as a musician and provided the right equipment when i needed it followed by advice on the differences between each one. I settled on a very good guitar and a couple of pedals. If you are going to buy from PMT, GO TO THE BIRMINGHAM STORE.

Overview

The Yamaha Revstar 502t (in Bowden Green finish) is a double cut electric guitar with P-90 pickups and inventive design, which also includes a retro-style aluminium tailpiece.

The perfect next step for Yamaha - a new model that is born classic... a true rock'n'roller!

The new Yamaha Revstar guitars are their first electric guitar range in 20 years. Developed over the last 3 years, they are truly special! These doublecut guitars mix their experience in guitar manufacturing with the inspiration from 1960s Cafe Racer motorbikes. The RS502T has a retro aluminium tailpiece, P90 pickups with Dry Switch, maple / Mahogany body and comes with gigbag. Bowden Green finish.

The Dry Switch creates single coil- like sounds but without any hum, and adds to the tonal versatility of this guitar.

Drawing inspiration from Yamaha's 50 year guitar-building heritage and customised Cafe Racer motorbikes from the streets of 1960s London, the Revstar design team created a guitar which perfectly captures the essence of Japanese engineering and craftsmanship.

From day one, guitarists from around the globe have worked with Yamaha's engineers and designers to make sure Revstar is built from the player's perspective.
