The Washburn C5CE is a fantastic entry-level classical guitar with the added advantage of having an in-built preamp and cutaway. Ideal for amplifying your classical performances and the cutaway lets you easily reach those super-high frets. Great sounding classical instrument, at an affordable price with amazing features.
Solidly Built Classical Guitar
The Washburn C5CE comes fitted with a Spruce top with the back and sides constructed out of catalpa, creating a warm balanced tone that emanates through the guitar. With quarter sawn sitka spruce bracing, this guitar re-acts solidly to being played.
The mahogany neck is fitted with an engineered wood fingerboard, that has a conventional classical 52mm nut, giving ample string spacing for customary classical fingering and ease of movement up and down the fretboard.
The cutaway makes accessing the higher frets easier, able to reach those high frets without a worry of an uncomfortable hand position that you can get with classical playing. Ideal for the first-time classical guitarist, making their musical journey child's play.
EVT Preamp System
Designed to amplify the C5CE Classical Guitar, the fitted EVT preamp system allows you to perform your classical repertoire without losing the natural essence of your instrument. The EVT preamp also has an in-built tuner which means easily of tuning your instrument quickly and precisely
